MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, Mirage

You’ve read just one article ago about Wynn Las Vegas, Bellagio and Freemont Street. As promised, the series of must-see attractions continues with the famous MGM Grand, Caesars Palace and Mirage.

MGM Grand was finished in 1993 and is the largest hotel in the world, with more then 5,005 rooms. The Grand Garden Arena is popular among box fans as it houses the most popular boxing matches in USA. The casino area is 170,000 square feet. MGM also comprises 15 restaurants, a coffee shop, five lounges, two wedding chapels, two showrooms, five pools, the world famous Lion’s habitat, a shopping complex and dance club. It is the main terminal station for the Las Vegas Monorail.

Caesars Palace sits in a lavish Roman setting. It has Roman columns, manicured shrubbery, grand staircases, imported marble and luxuriant fountains. It has two main casinos, featuring all the regular games and slot machines that feature prizes such as motorcycles and convertible cars. The jackpots reached over $21 million. The newly constructed Colosseum, features The Celine Dion Theatre. The Colosseum also houses a casino and the all-suite Augustus Tower (opened in the summer of 2005).

Mirage provides the biggest outdoor spectacle ever. People are queuing up to see the volcano that erupts every 15 minutes (from 7 pm to 12 am). Inside there is an indoor tropical rainforest, a dolphin habitat and a tropical aquarium (saltwater). The hotel has 8 restaurants, a tiger habitat, a pool, a spa, and four lounges. There is also a golf course and a casino with 2,000 slot machines.
