As far as trips go on our first visit to Vegas we went to the Grand Canyon and it was out of this world (a memory you’ll never forget) we did a tour guide that day of the “Hoover dam”, “Lake Mead”, went along Route 66 and final stop at the Canyon. It was a long day but worth every minute and always helps when you’ve got a great tour guide. Our trip this year was a little misleading as we where with friends who had not been to the Canyon before so we decided to book another trip there but we then ended up in Zion National Park, although very beautiful there is so much of canyon you can see in a day (not recommended if time is limited in Vegas). Went to a “Cirque de Soleil “ show called “Ra” and it was truly sensational, any Cirque de Soleil shows are worth watching and they are usually shown at Bellagios, Caesars Palace or MGM although the tickets are very expensive it’s a must without a doubt.
A little bit of advice when visiting Vegas wear sensible shoes as you walk so much (ladies high heals are prohibited).
