Elvis-A-Rama Museum, Las Vegas

Location: from Treasure Island drive west on Spring Mountain Road, then turn right onto Fashion Show Drive and right onto Industrial Road.
Hours of operation: Monday- Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tickets: cost is $12.95 for adults and $9.95 for children (over 12).
Special shows: King in Concert, from Monday to Saturday at 4 p.m. for $17.95 (only the show) or $25 for both the entrance to the museum and the show.
All Shook Up, from Monday to Saturday at 2 p.m. for the same fees as “King in Concert”.

Elvis-A-Rama Museum is Elvis’s home away from Graceland. The King is alive and well at the world’s largest private collection of Elvis’s personal items.

The self-guided tour begins with the 80-foot-long mural titled “Elvis-A-Rama. The mural was created in 1979 in Nashville and chronicles Elvis’s life. The mural has been signed by celebrities including Maria Shriver and Chet Atkins. On the opposite wall there is a display of the covers of all 729 of Elvis’s songs.

The exhibit is valued at almost $5 million and comprises four of Elvis’s cars. The exhibit is laid out chronologically beginning with Elvis’s famous Blue Suede Shoes. It also displays his white Knabe piano, a lot of jewelry and two of his Army uniforms, among many other items.
