Cirque du Soleil – Four Great Shows in Las Vegas
Cirque du Soleil has always performed outstanding shows. In Las Vegas, four shows carrying Cirque du Soleil’s trademark are available to enchant you: O, Mystere , K? and Zumanity.
Cirque du Soleil has its roots in Montreal and began its life as a unique circus experience, featuring breathtaking human acts and adding elements of the absurd and surreal.
Cirque du Soleil’s O is the most dazzling show ever. It’s performed at Bellagio twice nightly at 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm. Tickets cost $150, $125 and $99 (including tax). The acrobatic show revolved around 1.5 million gallon of water. The dreamscape tableau changes constantly, making each dollar worth being paid. If you have never seen a Cirque du Soleil show, prepare to be swept off your feet. Please consider that you are allowed in only wearing the proper attire (no sneakers, shorts, tops)
Mystere by Cirque du Soleil is advertised within the theatre as “Words don’t do it justice”. It is performed at Treasure Island Wednesdays to Saturdays from 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm and Sundays from 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm. Tickets cost $95, $75 and $60. The show was honored eight times as “The Best Production Show” by the Las Vegas Review Journal. It features on international cast of 72 performers (dancers, singers, musicians, acrobats). The show is dreamlike, erotic, and funny, in one word: Lovely!
K? (or KA) is a new theatrical show by Cirque du Soleil performed at MGM Grand. It combines acrobatic moves, martial arts and thrills from all over the world toped with state of the art multimedia and phonetic experiences. Tickets cost $150, $125 and $99. Zumanity is an adult show celebrating human sexuality. It’s considered the least subtle show in Las Vegas suitable for the least appropriate hotel: New York New York Hotel and Casino. The 90 minutes show is presented from Friday to Tuesday from 7:30 pm and 10:30 pm. Tickets cost $125, $95 and $65. The show is an erotic cabaret, just like the ones that shocked Paris at the end of last century. There are some basic circus and striptease acts but also visually stunning moments and some sketch romance.
